missingWrote a review on 09 Decnice viewfresh breakfastpower outages
The double room with a balcony offered a nice view, but it was closed off during the stay, which was disappointing. Breakfast featured fresh coffee and juice, which was a nice touch.
Power outages were a recurring issue, affecting the shower and contributing to an unpleasant smell in the bathroom. The noise from trucks and street-cleaning equipment blurred the lines between day and night, making sleep challenging. The toilet flush struggled to work consistently, and the presence of street noise, despite closed windows, was notable. Lastly, check-out felt chaotic, as there was no one available to assist.

Il Sorriso might as well call itself a NO Sorriso. The breakfast was laughably poor, and it's a shame that the noise from the road was so distracting at night. I also expected a complimentary upgrade, but alas, it seems being a guest here means no extra privileges—how disappointing! Almost gave it a good review, but just couldn’t.

Strong match for a quick stop in Florence with great value. I loved how Fabio stored our luggage and offered breakfast while we waited for our room. Watch out for local street paving, it can be a bit uneven!

A terrace with a view
Il Sorriso Bed & Breakfast offered a wonderfully welcoming experience. The terrace was a perfect spot to enjoy breakfast each morning while absorbing the sun and the beautiful surrounding architecture. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, making it a delightful retreat after a long day exploring Florence. The host was incredibly hospitable, providing excellent local recommendations that made our visit even more enjoyable.
However, the noise from the nearby road was quite disruptive at night, making it a challenge to sleep soundly. The check-in process felt a tad complicated, as it had to be done remotely and required some advance communication via WhatsApp.

We had a lovely time in a spacious double room with a balcony. The clean and beautiful common terrace was a great spot to unwind, and the property is conveniently located about a 15-minute walk to the Accademia and a block from public transport. Antonella, our host, was incredibly attentive and provided excellent local recommendations.
The breakfast options were a bit limited for our taste.

The property boasts a fantastic location, just a 15-20 minute walk to major sights and surrounded by great restaurants. The room was impeccably clean and cozy, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. However, the noise from the busy street proved to be a nuisance at night, making it hard to sleep soundly. Additionally, the breakfast offerings were somewhat limited, lacking variety that one might expect in such a setting.
